The image depicts a fountain in a lush garden. The glass bowl of the fountain is heaped with stones and abalone shells and we hear the splashing of the water trickling down over the shells and stones. The pedestal is made of glass cubes but it is difficult to see the interior of the pedestal since the cubes are made of mirror tile with the silvering only partially eroded from behind, so our own image, and that of the garden, intrudes on our view of the interior. At night, the heart of the pedestal is lit with soft light and the fountain itself, both stones and shells, are lit from below.
