The image depicts a welded iron stand supporting two light bulbs, one huge (more than a foot in length) and the other of normal size. The sculpture is displayed on an ocean beach, just beyond is a slight rise of drying sand. The stand is of rusted metal, the top some unknown object, perhaps a gear housing, and the legs of the stand ornate in the way of iron workers, with frivolous loops and curls twisted into the form without affecting its strength or functionality.
