The image depicts the artist in her studio, refracted and reflected through the monumental kaleidoscope of the glass panes leaning against the wall. She is barefoot, her blonde hair loose, her glasses hanging from a cord around her neck. Other portions of her studio, including the “Hope” sculpture, can be seen in the background and the effect is one of casual intensity.
