What a delight this piece has been (except for the last hanging of it ten feet in the air!) But before that moment, when I realized I was getting old, it's been a lot of fun installing it at literally any angle. It's also been a fantastic moment discovering marble. This old scrappy piece looked like life's landscape to me... As usual, I wanted to bring attention to THISVERYMOMENT! and carved a hole in the middle and installed a magnifying glass. After, I put a light behind to make it glow. This was my first touch of marble! It was soooooooooooooooooooooooo sensuous! I could see why sculptors never look back once they've moved energy around by carving marble!
