Wounded Planet is a photograph of the 1988 sculpture “Bush, the Environmentalist.” The sculpture is a rock filled with bullets in a precise pattern with an antique bird cage enshrouding the piece as an insane frame. The piece was sold to Lenna Hopper. The photographic version of the piece is actually mounted on marble, encased in thick glass. The photograph is printed on clear acetate (instead of white paper) so the image is three dimensional. I have replaced Lenna’s rock with a Tibetan crystal now that we are in a second Bush era... I feel it’s time for pure prayer!
